Hello SienaT Radio Listeners, Happy February 28!!

Tonight is the night! That’s right listeners, time for another exciting Song bank, hosted by yours truly, Siena T! This is the show where I bring you lots of great songs that you can chillax to, as well as others that’ll get you moving and grooving on the virtual dance floor! Plus, please don’t forget to send in your requests! You can send them in via the Request box on the SienaT Radio home page, or via email at sienatradio@gmail.com

On today’s Song Bank, we will have a Foreign exchange feature, in which I will play four songs in another language that each share a  melody with a popular song an another language. The translations may not always be the same from one language to the next, but the melody is the same. Following each song, I will play the original version in the original language.

Time permitting, we’ve also got an International Stage lined up, in which we will play three songs from a given country, in one of the country’s official languages.. Plus, also time permitting, we will have either a “who’s that” segment or a “Where Are we” segment. In “Who’s that”, we will hear two songs, one with a lady’s name in the title, and one with a gentleman’s name in the title. In “Where Are We”, we will hear two songs, both with place names in the title. It could either be two songs with the same place name, or two different place names altogether. Please stay tuned! And of course, we can’t forget everone’s favourite Name That Tune!

But wait, dear listeners, that’s not all, folks! We can’t forget three other exciting programs coming your way on Saturday,March 1, 2024! Starting off the Saturday lineup, our very own Nick Blasewitz will take the DJ booth to bring you The Melting Pot, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern, 10:30 to 11:30 AM Central, 4:30 to 5:30 PM UK Time! This is the show where Nick plays music from here, there and everywhere, songs that you’ve heard before as well as others that you may not have heard. Plus, lots of rare finds and much laughter and banter along the way.

Next up on SienaT Radio, we will open the doors once again to the Classical Cafe, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM Eastern, 1:30 to 2:30 PM Central, 7:30 to 8:30 PM UK Time. This is the show where our very own Samantha Ash will play us a wide range of classical music, classical contemporary crossovers, broadway tunes, opera, TV themes, movie soundtracks, and much much more! 

Last but certainly not least, our very own Robert Godridge will make his way in the studio to bring us The Hourglass, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM Eastern, 2:30 to 3:30 PM Central, 8:30 to 9:30 PM UK Time! Come join us as Rob takes us on a trip back in time, sharing with us a wide range of music from as far back as the early 1900’s, specially hand picked from his extensive collection of vinyl records!
