That’s right, dear friends, you read correctly! Not three, not four, but FIVE great programs coming up on SienaT Radio this weekend to make your Christmas festivities even brighter! Kicking off the set, this evening (Friday, December 20, 2024) from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern, I’m excited to be back on the air with another Christmas edition of the SienaT Radio Song Bank! Come join me as I play some great Christmas tunes, both contemporary and traditional, some upbeat, and others that you can chillax to over your favourite meal and a beverage of your choosing! We’ve got lots of great features as always, including everyone’s favourite Name That Tune! Plus, our main segment will be one that I like to call “Same Words, Different Tune”, where I’ll play two versions of a Christmas carol with the same lyrics, but set to a differentmelody. There will be three pairs in this segment. And don’t forget, your requests are what make up the show! Do you have a Christmas song you would like to hear? As I was unable to air the Cosmopolitan Culture Club on Thursday, December 19 due to a prior commitment, I’m excited to announce that I’ll be back on the air, broadcasting live aboard Flight SienaT Radio, tomorrow evening (Saturday, December 21, 2024), from 8:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern, bringing you traditional and contemporary Christmas songs from around the world! Plus, we’ll have our Name That Country game, where I’ll play a national anthem, and your goal is to let me know the country to which it belongs!
But wait, dear listeners, that’s not all, folks! We can’t forget three other exciting programs coming your way on Saturday,December 21, 2024! Starting off the Saturday lineup, our very own Nick Blasewitz will take the DJ booth to bring you The Melting Pot, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern, 10:30 to 11:30 AM Central, 4:30 to 5:30 PM UK Time! This is the show where Nick plays music from here, there and everywhere, songs that you’ve heard before as well as others that you may not have heard. Plus, lots of rare finds and much laughter and banter along the way.
Next up on SienaT Radio, we will open the doors once again to the Classical Cafe, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM Eastern, 1:30 to 2:30 PM Central, 7:30 to 8:30 PM UK Time. This is the show where our very own Samantha Ash will play us a wide range of classical music, classical contemporary crossovers, broadway tunes, opera, TV themes, movie soundtracks, and much much more!
Last but certainly not least, our very own Robert Godridge will make his way in the studio to bring us The Hourglass, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM Eastern, 2:30 to 3:30 PM Central, 8:30 to 9:30 PM UK Time! Come join us as Rob takes us on a trip back in time, sharing with us a wide range of music from as far back as the early 1900’s, specially hand picked from his extensive collection of vinyl records!
