I hope you are all having a great week so far! I can’t believe it’s already the weekend! And with the weekend approaching, why not celebrate by listening to some great shows on SienaT Radio!
Kicking off the weekend lineup, yours truly, Siena T, is excited to be back on the air this evening for the Song Bank, which will air from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern, 6:00 to 8:00 PM Central, and midnight to 2:00 AM in the UK. Come join me as I play you songs that you can chillax to over your favourite meal and comfert beverage, and others that will surely get you moving and grooving on the virtual dance floor! Please do not forget to send in your requests using the Request box, or by sending an email to sienatradio@gmail.com , and I’ll be delighted to play them for you on the show! For this week’s main feature, we’re digging back into our Instrumentals archive for our Sound of Music Showcase. On this feature, I will play an instrumental cover of a well known song, followed by its original vocal version. There will be three pairs of songs in this feature, with possibly a fourth pair, time permitting. Plus, we can’t forget our Name That Tune feature, where I’ll play an instrumental clip from a well known song, and your goal will be to guess the name of the song and the artist or group that recorded it. Plus, time permitting, we will have our International Stage feature, plus we’ll spin the wheel on a lady’s name and a gentleman’s name for our Who’s that feature! You’re not going to want to miss it!
But wait, dear listeners, that’s not all! You’re in for a triple treat, on Saturday,September 21, 2024! Starting off the Saturday lineup, our very own Nick Blasewitz will take the DJ booth to bring you The Melting Pot, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern, 10:30 to 11:30 AM Central, 4:30 to 5:30 PM UK Time! This is the show where Nick plays music from here, there and everywhere, songs that you’ve heard before as well as others that you may not have heard. Plus, lots of rare finds and much laughter and banter along the way.
Next up on SienaT Radio, we will open the doors once again to the Classical Cafe, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM Eastern, 1:30 to 2:30 PM Central, 7:30 to 8:30 PM UK Time. This is the show where our very own Samantha Ash will play us a wide range of classical music, classical contemporary crossovers, broadway tunes, opera, TV themes, movie soundtracks, and much much more!
Last but certainly not least, our very own Robert Godridge will make his way in the studio to bring us The Hourglass, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM Eastern, 2:30 to 3:30 PM Central, 8:30 to 9:30 PM UK Time! Come join us as Rob takes us on a trip back in time, sharing with us a wide range of music from as far back as the early 1900’s, specially hand picked from his extensive collection of vinyl records!
